With these recordings, the new Marlboro Recording Society label begins a series dedicated to releasing memorable performances from the Marlboro Music Festival which have never previously been issued commercially. Selected from the recorded archives from past decades to the present day, these performances have been hand-picked by the artistic directors at Marlboro.
