The joint adventure of Martin Eberle and Martin Ptak began in 2012 when they met in the Wienerlied formation "Die Stottern & Bleck". For years they have been an integral part of various bands and projects, such as the Velvet Elevator Orchestra, the Jazzwerkstatt Wien or the Soap&Skin ensemble. In 2018, Martin Ptak and Martin Eberle took part in the "Ganymed Nature" project at the Kunsthistorisches Museum. Under the title "Twilight Train" they set Pieter Bruegel's painting "The Gloomy Day" to music. Inspired by the atmosphere of this special performance and due to the positive feedback from the audience, they continued the work they had started.
The album "Momentum" is the result of this joint process. While the pieces "Appassionata", "Hymn", "Momentum" and "Juno" were composed by both musicians together, "Rain Song", "Ringo" and "Earth" were penned by Martin Ptak, respectively "pARaMios" and "Beginning" by Martin Eberle.
