Filmed in Chester Cathedral during the National Youth Orchestra of Spain's 2007 European tour, this concert features Leopold Stokowski's inimitable and colourful transcriptions of Mussorgsky's 'Pictures at an Exhibition' and 'A Night on Bare Mountain', the latter made famous by its inclusion in the 1940 Walt Disney film Fantasia.
Jos?® Serebrier's 'Symphonie mystique', for strings, was written in the space of just one week in 2003.
